Combat Stat REset

After reviewing our current creature balance and the number of custom overrides on the server, we have decided to temporarily reset our creatures back to their base combat stats.

TL;DR

Custom combat stat changes have been temporarily removed so we can evaluate creatures closer to their base combat balance. Movement and quality-of-life adjustments will mostly remain. We will monitor performance over the next few weeks and add back targeted combat changes where they are genuinely needed.

This reset includes custom changes to:

  • Combat weight
  • Health and armor
  • Attack damage
  • Bleed, bone break, and knockback
  • Combat abilities and attack cooldowns

Most movement, stamina, jump, flight, swimming, and other quality-of-life adjustments remain in place.

Each creature’s profile will also be updated to reflect its current stat changes and tier, where applicable. Profile updates are currently in progress and will be completed by the end of the day.

Why are we doing this?

A great deal has changed since we opened this server, including new creatures, updates, TLCs, and our own balancing adjustments. With so many custom combat changes already in place, it can be difficult to get a clear feel for how each creature actually performs.

Returning to base combat stats gives us a more consistent starting point and may help level things out across the roster. It will also allow us to better evaluate which creatures genuinely need adjustments rather than judging them through layers of previous changes.

Is this permanent?

No. This is not the end of custom balancing.

Over the next several weeks, we will be testing creatures, observing their performance during normal gameplay and Fight Night, and gathering feedback from the community. Once we have had enough time to evaluate creatures at base, targeted combat adjustments will be added back where they are genuinely needed.

Our goal is to create a cleaner foundation so that future changes are more consistent and easier to evaluate. Happy hunting, and may your favorite creature survive its partial return to the basics!
