Community Discord & In-Game Chat Behavior

Ashes of Apex is intended to be an 18+ community to help maintain a mature environment and allow for more effective moderation. We recommend that members be 18 or older.

Players must have their Alderon ID displayed in their Discord nickname.
Nicknames are automatically set through PotBot when accounts are linked.
Do not manually change or remove this format. Your Ashes of Apex Discord name must include your Alderon ID. Special characters may not be used in place of the numbers.

Treat all players with respect.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, stalking, doxxing, or personal attacks (verbal, written, or implied) are zero-tolerance offenses.
Hate speech, slurs, bullying, and targeting individuals or groups for ridicule or exclusion are strictly prohibited.
Do not mock, belittle, or provoke others based on beliefs, play style, or personal choices.
Keep debates focused on ideas and gameplay.
Do not impersonate staff, developers, content creators, or other players.

Server disputes stay within Ashes of Apex. If a situation needs staff review, submit a ticket.
Gossip, rumor spreading, name-calling, and witch hunts are forbidden.
No targeting other communities.
Do not share screenshots, messages, or events from other communities unless staff-approved.
Avoid spreading conflicts across channels or outside the server.
Activities or disputes occurring outside of our server fall beyond our jurisdiction. Ashes of Apex does not monitor, moderate, or assume responsibility for any external servers that are not officially affiliated with or endorsed by our community. Do not bring drama to our door.

No sexually explicit, suggestive, or obscene messages, usernames, emojis, memes, jokes, links, or images.
This includes content that hints at sexual activity, sexualized characters, or real or fictional adult themes.
NSFW material is prohibited in all channels, including voice channels.

Do not glorify, encourage, or threaten self-harm, suicide, or violence.
Sharing methods, imagery, or jokes that may cause real harm will result in immediate action.
Posts or comments that indicate intent to harm yourself or others will be escalated to staff.

Treat staff respectfully. Follow their instructions.
Arguing or disrespect may result in a mute or worse.
Players may politely remind others of a rule if it appears to be broken, but that is the limit of player involvement.
Do not argue, lecture, or attempt to discipline another player. If escalation is needed, open a ticket so staff can handle it appropriately.
Only designated staff enforce rules. Repeated attempts to police others or act as staff may result in disciplinary action.
Concerns or disagreements with staff decisions must be discussed privately through tickets.
Public arguments, callouts, or attempts to rally others against staff actions are not allowed.

Rule violations are handled through Discord tickets with recorded proof whenever possible.
Reports are still encouraged even without documentation; staff will investigate patterns of behavior and monitor repeat offenders.
Consistent disruptive behavior or multiple verified complaints may result in disciplinary action, even if each incident alone seems minor.
Public discussion or gossip about reports is not allowed. All matters must stay within the ticket system.
Public callouts, witch hunts, or gossiping about reports are prohibited.
