Deinonychus
Deinonychus was a carnivorous, bipedal dinosaur that lived in North America during the Early Cretaceous period(around 145-100.5 million years ago) It was a dromaeosaur, known as a “terrible claw” due to the large, sickle-shaped talon on each foot, which was used for hunting. It was about 10–11 feet long and weighed 150–220 pounds. The Deinonychus also was fitted with a large, sickle-shaped claw on the second toe of each foot, which could be locked in place and used for slashing prey along with a stiff tail for balance and curved teeth in a narrow skull.

Behavior
The Deinonychus is not an incredibly social creature often hunting in packs, they are known for hunting in very coordinated packs ambushing prey from elevated positions. They are also fiercely territorial, especially around nests, and aggressive towards rivals and potential prey much larger than themselves. Deinonychus is an agile hunter that used its sickle claw and full body weight to attack and subdue victims, sometimes starting to feed before the prey is dead. While they are very active hunters they are not above scavenging for food if resources are scarce enough. There is also evidence that Deinonychus is not above cannibalism, with evidence suggesting that older individuals may have preyed on younger ones. The Deinonychus migrates seasonally between lowland basin areas and more temperate highland regions.

If a SOLO Lateniventrix is to enter the LOS or POI of 3 or more Deinonychus they will take this as a threat and attempt to threat call the Laten out, if it refuses then it may be hunted. However this body down may not be claimed unless 1 pack members hunger is below 50%.
NUH UH IM A BIRD
The Deinonychus loves being up in higher places such as cliffs or rockfaces, being so they will normally place their nests in hard to reach spots such as cliff edges below the peak. They also get along with most other birds but are deeply scared of the Dracoviper due to its venom.
Look at all Those Chickens
The Deinonychus most commonly travels along with its prey, which in some cases can be very long distances and also can lead to them running into larger herbivores and carnivores. When this happens they seem to have a “respect” for them and will walk/trot/ by them but will not sprint unless being hunted by another carnivore.

NOW YOU SEE ME, NOW YOU DONT
Deinonychus are very prone to also being in bushes and incredibly hidden, keeping an eye on things from afar. If they see an apex looking at it they will duck into a bush and “hide” but also poking out every 10-15 seconds to see if they are still looking at them or if a different one may be. They will repeat this until the apex is no longer looking at them in an attempt to not draw attention to themselves.
OOH WE PLAY TAG?
When the Deinonychus is sure of its ability it will toy with whatever may be hunting it, running circles around it, even going so far as to dropping off a flower in front of it. It does this because it knows how fast and nimble it is, once it gets tired of this it will run off completely from sight of its predator.
